It's My Book's Birthday! [#15]
Hello from New York, where the Flawless book tour could not have started more smoothly.
Good morning from New York, where this morning I got myself up early to meet publicist Emily at CBS This Morning, where Gayle, Tony and Vlad interviewed me about the book. Perfect timing, as this is THE DAY Flawless is available on shelves, a day we’ve been building up to for the past three years.
On Saturday night, my friends in LA hosted a gorgeous backyard party in Brentwood with no book talks or Q and A, just Korean tacos, kimchi, chapjae and celebration. AAPI vendors took part as sponsors with fun giveaways, and VING Vodka sponsored, too, so thank you to all of them.
Speaking of beverages, Beam Suntory hosted a publication day eve party at their global headquarters last night where they have two distinct bars inside, obviously, since it’s Beam Suntory. And dang, the crowd was super engaged and full of questions and the whole experience, in that dreamy setting, felt so elevated. I have nothing but gratitude for everyone involved in this book launch, including you, because everything is better when we do it together.
